Early Childhood Education
Families in Kokemäki can choose from several early childhood education options, including:
- Municipal daycare

- Open early childhood education (non-registered, group-based activities)
There are two daycare centers in Kokemäki:
- Villa Vilinä Daycare Center
- Kauvatsa Daycare School, a combined early childhood and primary education unit located in Kauvatsa

Pre-school Education
The Education and Welfare Department of the City of Kokemäki provides free pre-school education for all six-year-olds (the year before compulsory school age).
Basic Education
Kauvatsa Daycare and School is a combined early childhood education and primary school unit located in Kauvatsa, Kokemäki. It offers early childhood education, pre-primary education, and basic education (grades 1–6). The Kauvatsa Library also operates in connection with the daycare and school.

Kokemäki Unified School – Tuomaala Campus is a small primary school of around 50 pupils, located approximately 5 kilometres from the centre of Kokemäki. It provides pre-primary and basic education for grades 1–6.

Kokemäki Unified School – Yhteiskoulu Campus is a co-educational lower secondary school serving students in grades 7–9, and some in grade 6. The school includes three special education classes and has approximately 270 pupils. The campus is located near the swimming hall, city library, skate park, and City Hall. Kokemäki High School is also located in the same school complex.

Kokemäki Unified School – Tulkkila Campus provides basic education for grades 1–5 and has approximately 220 pupils. The campus includes a red wooden building that houses the pre-school and a yellow stone building that houses the primary school. The Tulkkila Sports Hall (Tulkkila-sali) and the City Library are located next to the campus.

Kokemäki High School
Kokemäki High School has provided general upper secondary education for over a hundred years. A qualified and supportive staff, a strong sense of community, and a safe learning environment are just some of the benefits of our small but ambitious high school. We offer diverse study paths and personalized support for your learning. Students are encouraged to take an active role in shaping school life and events.
General upper secondary education in Finland typically lasts three years and provides broad, general knowledge that prepares students for university, university of applied sciences, or vocational education. We collaborate with local vocational institutions to offer combined studies. In partnership with Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, we also offer pathway studies, allowing students to begin their bachelor’s-level education during high school.
