Saint Henry’s Chapel

The Preaching Room of Saint Henry’s Chapel is the oldest surviving wooden building in Finland. According to folklore, it served during the Middle Ages as a preaching room for Finland’s national saint, Bishop Henry. During the Catholic era, the preaching room was an important pilgrimage site, believed to possess miraculous powers. The octagonal chapel built to shelter the preaching room was consecrated in June 1857. Kokemäki Museum Bridge

The Museum Bridge is One of Kokemäki’s Most Iconic Sights and is an Indelible Part of the Landscape. Built in Just Over 100 days in 1918, the Bridge Was Declared a Museum Bridge in 1982. The Reinforced Concrete Arch Bridge, Also known as the Tulkkila Bridge, is One of the Oldest Reinforced Concrete Bridges in Finland. Until 2013, the Bridge was Also Used for Vehicular Traffic, But Nowadays it Only Serves Light Traffic.
